The API is designed around two main entities: Table and Template.

Table

Table is a collection of companies researched by Extruct AI agents according to specific set of column configurations. Each column in the table represents a specific data point about the company.

You can create a table from scratch or out of a template.

Natural workflow:

  1. Create a table
  2. Add columns to the table (this is where you configure AI agents and data points to research)
  3. Add rows with input data to the table (this is where you specify companies to research)
  4. Run the table to research the rest of the columns for each company
  5. Get the table data

You can also update the table configuration, add or delete or change columns, add or change rows, or re-run the table to update the data.

Template

Template is a reusable configuration of columns that can be applied to multiple tables. Templates are used to define what data points to research about companies.

Extruct AI provides a set of pre-built templates that you can use out of the box. You can also create your own templates.

When you create a table from a template, the table will be pre-populated with columns from the template. Then, you can add more columns to the table if needed.
