1. Installing the Addon

Download Extruct AI for Google Sheet.

2. Running Research Agents

  • Fill in company names in A column
  • Remove backticks ` before formulas. You will see cell values changed to In Progress...
  • Pull down formulas to start research for all companies

Extruct AI is now processing your research tasks.

3. Fetching Agent Results

The first time you call the =EXTRUCT() function, your cell will display the In Progress... value. Extruct AI immediately receives your question and starts researching the answer.

To fetch the results for completed research tasks, click the Fetch Updates button in the Menu.

Enjoy the results of autonomous AI research.

After Fetch Updates refresh, some cells might still be In Progress. Wait a minute and click Fetch Updates again.

Why? The reason the Fetch Updates button exists is a combination of Google Sheet limitations and Extruct AI infrastructure design that prioritizes reliability & data quality over speed.
